BOHICA … Feelin’ Rude Today!

Casting Crowns, Waiting On The Night To Fall,

Obama_Putin_Differences_2So the sock puppet in Washington has cancelled the evil North American oil economy. Wouldn’t want anything operating outside of gov’mnt control would ya? Nope gotta keep all those Low Information Voters on the gub’mnt programs

Justin_Trudea_F-bomb-markedAnd the new sock puppet in Ottawa has given our Department of Defense it’s new marching orders – get out of every conflict we are involved in out there in the real world and prepare to hand over everything to ISIS, just like the Washington sock puppet did a few years ago in Iraq.

Canada’s new global position is taken from the FSM’s playbook. Quickly surrender to everyone who threatens us or holds up our coffee delivery. (BTW, FSM is acronym for “French Surrender Monkey” as if ya didn’t know that)

If things follow true to form we should be bracing for another round of National Energy Program and carbon taxes, ’cause we know the federal pink tribe will never be able to leave it up to the provincial Not Dis Pile to completely break everything that works and destroy the Alberta economy, hell no!

Of course his dad Lucky Pierre was much sexier and he actually had a real brain even if he WAS a dilettante playboy who palled around with Fidel in his off hours.

Boy Justin has no noticeable brain and all his experience is teaching snow bunnies, smokin’ up in between snowboarding lessons and punchin’ Quebecois Senators in the face. Boy Justin got all his smarts from his mother’s side of the family, and we all discovered the hard way what that little dope smokin’ flower child was made of.

So about now some folks are thinkin’ “BOHICA” what the heck does that stand for?

Well, around here it stands for “Bend Over Here It Comes Again!”

Considering Election Results …

Dire Straits, Money For Nothing, Chicks For Free,

As we try to figure out what the election results mean, here are a few insights:

After striking out in the big vast world, Justin Trudeau has returned home to the place he was raised (24 Sussex Dr.), finding it just a bit too scary out there in the real world.

On the flip side, Mr. Harper woke up to quite likely his worst nightmare. He woke up as a regular Calgary citizen with a Muslim as his Mayor, the NDP running his province, and the Liberals running his country….

Me, I have been busy as hell with my renovation project and trying run things after one staff person retired and the other can’t work in a dusty environment because of Asthma. Every day is one non-stop adrenaline rush and how one feels about things depends entirely on one’s viewpoint.

How the world looks, and how one handles it is very much a head game and one can choose to be freaked out or one can just keep on clubbing little dragons until you run out of clubs or they overwhelm ya.

AND …   WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!!  BWAHAHAHA. Bet ya didn’t know that Life was a fatal STD.

More Bureaucracy Stories …

The rich heritage of bureaucracy in Canada deserves a bright light and another look.  The  Liberal Party of Canada, under the very capable leadership of Boy Justin has clearly established itself as the “party of government” (aka The Natural Ruling Party) in their quest for eternal power… and are currently embarked upon a mission to save mankind and re-establish hegemony between bureaucrats, media and government appointees in the Great White North which Lord Chretien de Shawinigan and Hauptsturmführer Paul Martin frittered away in an orgy of pork-barreling and vote buying.

The real possibility that the Canadian Conservative Party under the very capable leadership of Prime Minister Stephen is one of the best if not the best government Canada has ever had has not been lost on Boy Justin.  The thing is, ALL elected officials are considered “temps” by the permanent government- the bureaucrats. Politicians come and politicians go but the vampires live on for ever unless some radical who still knows the difference between right and wrong burns them out.

Boy Justin knows he can count on all the usual progressives to “take down” the Harper Conservatives.  After all, all their lives depend on doing the dirty before Stephen applies the torch. It might just be “Ides of March” time for Stephen. Don’t just take my word for this, read “Voltaire’s Bastardsby John Ralston Saul, a Canadian author. His other work is very entertaining and informative as well. He qualifies as a writer of brain candy.

Saul deserves a longer mention. As an essayist, Saul is particularly known for his commentaries on the nature of individualism, citizenship and the public good; the failures of manager-led societies; the confusion between leadership and managerialism; military strategy, in particular irregular warfare; the role of freedom of speech and culture; and his critique of contemporary economic arguments.

His philosophical essays began with the trilogy made up of the bestseller Voltaire’s Bastards: The Dictatorship of Reason in the West published in 1992, the polemic philosophical dictionary The Doubter’s Companion: A Dictionary of Aggressive Common Sense (1994), and the book that grew out of his 1995 Massey Lectures, The Unconscious Civilization (1995).

The last won the 1996 Governor General’s Award for Non-Fiction Literature. These books deal with themes such as the dictatorship of reason unbalanced by other human qualities, how it can be used for any ends especially in a directionless state that rewards the pursuit of power for power’s sake.

He argues that this leads to deformations of thought such as ideology promoted as truth; the rational but anti-democratic structures of corporatism, by which he means the worship of small groups; and the use of language and expertise to mask a practical understanding of the harm this causes, and what else our society might do.

He argues that the rise of individualism with no regard for the role of society has not created greater individual autonomy and self-determination, as was once hoped, but isolation and alienation.

He calls for a pursuit of a more humanist ideal in which reason is balanced with other human mental capacities such as common sense, ethics, intuition, creativity, and memory, for the sake of the common good, and he discusses the importance of unfettered language and practical democracy: these human attributes are elaborated upon in his 2001 book On Equilibrium.

Anyway, Saul was and is mostly ignored in Canada and the Liberals bought him off and neutered him by making his Asian wife a poster girl for the Multi-Culti PC crowd. They achieved this coup by naming her Canada’s Governor General, Madam Adrian Clarkson.  An impressive lady in her own right, she was a good choice for the role but eventually was thrown to the sharks by Hauptsturmführer Paul Martin to distract from his own incompetence as prime minister.

All of this leads to a three part series over at Bill Whittle’s site.  I went there because of a reference to the F-35 which Canadian Defense Illuminati have had a crush on for a while.  Part one is here.  Part two is here. Unfortunately part three has yet to materialize.  We await developments. The gist of these clips are yet more amusing anecdotes about government bureaucracy. It reminded me of a lunch discussion I once had with a senior VP of Technology when I was a new-hire geek for a large Western Health Region.

He went to great pains to explain that our goal was to make sure we were rated in the lower third of the many various health regions for all the usual domains and scores. That way we would never attract bad press as the “worst” but could always count on more funding to work towards moving up in the ranks.  The best regions always had trouble getting more funding. He wanted to make sure that the Noob understood his place and role.
