Life in a small town, The Inner Struggle

Ashes … the world ends … Fire or Ice …

Sunday, September 13, 2020 … sitting in the dark … listening to tunes … Ashes to Ashes … born in ashes … called in fire … forged in darkness … for the light of eternity … Quid Hoc Ad Aeternitatem.

“Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to wise men; you judge what I say. Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread.

Look at the Israel according to the flesh; are not those who eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar? What do I mean then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything or that an idol is anything?

No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we?” (1 Cor 1-: 14-22)

This is the greatest civilization ever built … or so we are assured by our betters … and yet … and yet …

We sacrifice to Moloch about 900,000 children a year as a mere “Health Care” procedure in our enlightened Progressive society here in North America and if there were more people in Canada we would certainly sacrifice more per capita than the good ole U.S. of A., just like our violent crime rate and our murder rate are higher per capita than the good ole U.S. of A.

And the few souls left in our churches are all masked up because … the High Priests of “Health Care” tell us we will “have more cases”?  Who’s left … listening to the Mass Readings?

How can anyone miss the significance of this, we sacrifice to demons, and not to God, and we become sharers in demons. Our culture of Progressive Brights, our culture of self love and death, our culture of COVID, our culture of masks, and deviance and Gaia worship, cannot drink of the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons, cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

And we cannot stand anyone who disagrees with our daily justification of perversion and murder. and every day millions of spirits shuffle off this mortal coil … are they good spirits … or are they unclean spirits?

Sirach 27:30–28:7
30 Resentment and anger, these are foul things too, and a sinner is a master at them both.
1 Whoever exacts vengeance will experience the vengeance of the Lord, who keeps strict account of sin. 2 Pardon your neighbour any wrongs done to you, and when you pray, your sins will be forgiven. 3 If anyone nurses anger against another, can one then demand compassion from the Lord? 4 Showing no pity for someone like oneself, can one then plead for one’s own sins?

5 Mere creature of flesh, yet cherishing resentment!-who will forgive one for sinning? 6 Remember the last things, and stop hating, corruption and death, and be faithful to the commandments. 7 Remember the commandments, and do not bear your fellow ill-will, remember the covenant of the Most High, and ignore the offence. (Sirach 27:30–28:7)

Romans 14:7-9
7 For none of us lives for himself and none of us dies for himself; 8 while we are alive, we are living for the Lord, and when we die, we die for the Lord: and so, alive or dead, we belong to the Lord. 9 It was for this purpose that Christ both died and came to life again: so that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living. (Romans 14:7-9)

Matthew 18:21-35
21 Then Peter went up to him and said, ‘Lord, how often must I forgive my brother if he wrongs me? As often as seven times?’ 22 Jesus answered, ‘Not seven, I tell you, but seventy-seven times.

23 ‘And so the kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a king who decided to settle his accounts with his servants. 24 When the reckoning began, they brought him a man who owed ten thousand talents; (a huge amount which could not be repaid in a lifetime)  25 he had no means of paying, so his master gave orders that he should be sold, together with his wife and children and all his possessions, to meet the debt. 26 At this, the servant threw himself down at his master’s feet, with the words, “Be patient with me and I will pay the whole sum.”

27 And the servant’s master felt so sorry for him that he let him go and cancelled the debt.

28 Now as this servant went out, he happened to meet a fellow-servant who owed him one hundred denarii  (a single day’s wage); and he seized him by the throat and began to throttle him, saying, “Pay what you owe me.” 29 His fellow-servant fell at his feet and appealed to him, saying, “Be patient with me and I will pay you.” 30 But the other would not agree; on the contrary, he had him thrown into prison till he should pay the debt.

31 His fellow-servants were deeply distressed when they saw what had happened, and they went to their master and reported the whole affair to him.

32 Then the master sent for the man and said to him, “You wicked servant, I cancelled all that debt of yours when you appealed to me. 33 Were you not bound, then, to have pity on your fellow-servant just as I had pity on you?” 34 And in his anger the master handed him over to the torturers till he should pay all his debt.

35 And that is how my heavenly Father will deal with you unless you each forgive your brother from your heart. (Matthew 18:21-35)

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice. (Robert Frost)

Masks, Memes, and Authoritarianism …

My favourite meme today:

It’s such a relief not to have to listen to the Global Warming Drumbeat … now it’s all COVID!!!!!!!

“You keep saying that me not wearing a mask is killing YOU. It’s been months. How much longer will it take?”

An excellent site, well worth the visit if just for the intelligent comment section.

An excellent talk by Dr. Merrit. From DDP 38th Annual Meeting, August 16, 2020, Las Vegas, NV.

Not too many Facebook Karens in residence here.

Cheers
